Northampton School for Boys is an 11-18 state funded single sex boys’ school.
The school was founded in 1541 by Thomas Chipsey and located in Bridge Street, but moved to the present site in 1911. His fellow trustees included Laurence and Edward Manley, William Brightwell, and Laurence Washington - an antecedent of George Washington, first President of the USA.
GNVQ Art & Design (Level 3)
After graduating from high school, I wanted to further my education in both art and design. GNVQ catered for both these interests and more. The curriculum provided me with a base to bring my drawing, design and artistic skills up to a high enough standard to continue to university. I was fortunate to select a course that had enjoyable aspects such as photography, animation and business studies built in as modules.
